Baseball Baby Shower

Time has come to start having baby showers!!!! The baseball wives threw me and one of the other wives Brittany a combined baby shower today. It was so fun seeing everyone and catching up and with the season coming to an end...finding out where everyone was going to be this off season. Below are a few pictures that were taken with my camera. I am hoping everyone posts some pics and I can steal those pics too.

Thanks to everyone that came and celebrated! I am so thankful that you were able to come and enjoy the love that these little babies are getting. I truly appreciate everything you guys did!

Baby Update: 22 Weeks (5 1/2 Months)

How Far Along: 22 weeks (5 1/2 Months!)
Size of Baby: About 10.9 inches long 1lb 3 oz. He is about the size of a Papaya.
Total Weight Gain: 15 lbs....I gained 10 lbs since my last doctors appt....oh boy and the baby only weighs 1 lb of that
Maternity Clothes: Loving leggings and Dresses....still fitting into the maternity jeans!
Gender: Boy....I think we have narrowed down the name but giving it some time to sink in..not ready to announce yet

Movement: I feel him more and more everyday...apparently my stomach has a kickboxing class that is scheduled at 4 am every morning this week and my little guy decides to attend and kick and punch to his delight
Food Cravings: Hawaiian Rolls with Mayo with sliced tomatoes and olives and pickles by themselves;)

What I Miss: My nights of sleeping through the night....isn't it amazing how God prepares our bodies for what is to come!

Symptoms: My belly button is even with my tummy and bloody noses
Best Moment This Week: Our Doctors appointment. The little guy looked amazing. The Doc did all the measurements and saw the heart and stomach and kidneys and it all looked perfect. We did not get any good pictures because of course he was moving like crazy. The only time he stopped was when they were looking at his boy parts, so we got a great pic of that. His little face was hidden by his arm and he was sucking on his arm. His little eyes were peeking out behind the arm which was fun to see.
What I Am Looking Forward To: Seeing my husband again...I am not sure how long he is gone right now...but I know the latest will be Sept 6th! End of the Baseball Season:) Decisions to be made about our future!!

Baby Update: 21 Weeks

How Far Along: 21 weeks

Size of Baby: About 10.5 inches long 12.7 oz. He is about the length of a Banana.

Total Weight Gain: 12 1/2 lbs (We will have to see the total when I go to the Doctor Tomorrow)

Maternity Clothes: Loving leggings and Dresses

Gender: Boy....we have tried out some names....Grady- a no go, Charley - no go....It has been decided that a name ending in Y does not work for us....moving on to other names
Movement: I think he was having a karate class everyday this week;) We will need to work on that

Food Cravings: Hawaiian Rolls with Mayo and sliced tomatoes.....such a good summer sandwich
What I Miss: Not wearing a bra
Sleep: Going well...just cannot go to sleep before 1 am

Symptoms: My boobs started leaking this week....let me tell you....it was the most odd and funny thing that has happened yet

Best Moment This Week: Getting to see Chris and laying on the couch and feeling the little man move and kick together....I am loving this together time

What I Am Looking Forward To: My doctors appointment tomorrow and for the end of baseball season....almost there!!!

Denove Pool Day

Yesterday, my Mom was gracious enough to drive up to Agoura Hills so that I could see Chris's family. Chris's sister Holly and her two kids and Divo and her two kids made it to Chris's parents house. There was a lot of fun swimming, relaxing and a great dinner! I even got on a bathing suit and got in the pool.

Baby Updates: 20 Weeks

How Far Along: 20 weeks Half Way!!!!!!!!!!
Size of Baby: About 6.5 inches long 10.6 oz. He is about the size of a Cantaloupe.
Total Weight Gain: 5 1/2 lbs (I weighed myself at my Mom's and if right I have gained 7 lbs in 5 weeks....oh boy)
Maternity Clothes: Bought some cute ones at Gap Maternity this week
Gender: Boy....no name boy....still trying to figure out his name

Movement: I am feeling little kicks or punches now and just does not feel like movements
Food Cravings: Chips and Salsa and of course Pickles

What I Miss: Not having to go pee all the time

Sleep: For pregnant people I am not sure traveling and sleeping go well

Symptoms: Swollen Feet and my Gums bleeding when I brush my teeth
Best Moment This Week: Seeing my Mom and sisters
What I Am Looking Forward To: Seeing my Mom n Law and sister n laws and all of our nieces and nephews

Visit from a Good Friend

My good friend Daniele Tatum came to Louisville to visit. Her husband use to play on our team and now plays for the Orioles AAA and Big League team. It was so much fun to see her and catch up! I miss sitting next to her at games. Thanks for the fun couple of days.

Size of Baby: About 6 inches long 8.5 oz. He is about the size of a Mango.

Total Weight Gain: 5 1/2 lbs

Maternity Clothes: Bought some new summer maternity clothes....however I am not that big of a fan of the maternity clothes....I think I may need to get creative

Gender: Boy....no name boy....he does have several nicknames..blueberry, TimTom, Tobey and my husbands nickname for him...buddy

Movement: I am feeling little kicks or punches now and just does not feel like movements

Food Cravings: Chocolate....anything with chocolate in it....hot chocolate (my house is 68 so it is ok to drink it), chocolate milk, chocolate cereal.....I think you get my point

What I Miss: Not having to go pee all the time
Sleep: The zzz's have continued....it also helps that I have two fans going and the house is set to 62 :) Not sure what I am going to do at my parents house next week

Symptoms: Swollen Feet and my Gums bleeding when I brush my teeth

Best Moment This Week: Chris is coming home tomorrow night and starting to feel the little kicks

What I Am Looking Forward To: Getting my hair done tomorrow....as you can tell from the pics above I have let it go since I have been preggo but tomorrow is the day.....Also going back to my parents house on Monday...excited to see family
