Baby Nash is 9 Months Old

Our little Munchkin is 9 months old.
Boy has time flown by.
You are the joy of our lives
and amaze us everyday
Stats:
Weight: 23 lbs 4 oz 90%
Length: 30 in 90%
Head Circumference: 46 cm 75%

 Size of Clothes:
Currently he is wearing 12-18 month clothing but not for long.
He does wear some 18-24 month clothing.
It all depends on the brand.
Old Navy- 18-24 month
Gap - between 12-18 and 18-24
Polo - 18 month
Babies R Us - 18 month and 24 month

 Size of Diapers:
You are currently in size 4
I think you will be in this size for a little while.
They seem to be a little big but the 3s were just too small.

 Sleep:
You are still a pretty good sleeper.
However, I have discovered that you have a hard time falling asleep in places other than
your bed, car seat, or stroller.
You are a very scheduled baby and know exactly what you want.
You continue to take two naps a day for about an hour to an hour and half for both
At night you sleep through the night for most of them.
Sometimes you do surprise us by waking up.
We just give you an empty bottle and you fall back asleep.

Eating:
Nasherson you are a pro eater.
You have started to master table food.
This month we introduced meats, cheese and yogurt.
Below are the foods you are currently eating:
Peas, Green Beans, Peaches, Pears, String Cheese, Baby Yogurt, Applesauce
Chicken, Turkey Lunch Meat Slices, Pasta, Rice and Puffs
You still have reactions to carrots however, I think you can eat almost anything
as long as I cut it into small enough pieces.
You have perfected picking the pieces up and put them into your mouth!

You still eat some baby foods: sweet potatoes, squash, green beans, peas
You also have 4 bottles a day which totals about 24 oz of formula.

Movement:
You have conquered sitting!
You have moved on to rolling to where you want to get to
Currently, you are able to get up on all fours and rock back and fourth.
You scoot backward but not forward!
I think it will be any day now that you start crawling.

 Favorite Toys:
You are in love with strings.
You have two toys that have strings:
a phone that you can pull and a grasshopper that you can also pull
Noni also gave you a little fisher prices drum that you are in love with.
You have just figured out how to hit it to make the sound.
But the all time favorite toy is still your jump jump!

 Sounds:
Little Man you are a talker
The words you say: Mama, Ba Ba, Pa Pa and Hi
Then tons of different sounds
You like to gurgle and scream in fun

Fun side notes:
You have started to rub your thumb and fore finger together when you are sitting still
You still do not like loud sounds; they startle you and you cry
You love to be outside, unfortunately we can not be outside much
You are a water baby! Love all forms of water
When we hold you, you constantly try to twist and get down like you have some place to go
When sitting, you like to lean down and eat your toes

Games:
Love to play peek a boo
Love for daddy to hold you and then you guys chase after me.
You laugh and laugh at this

Munchkin Man
We grow more and more in love with you everyday.
Cannot believe it has been 9 months!
What does the next month hold for us!

Highlights from San Diego

Below are some highlights from our weekend in San Diego

Nash played every morning and then we would bundle up and go on a walk.

Nash sporting his UCLA jacket

Lots of loving from his Aunties

Manicure from Noni and Daddy....his nails were so long

Celebrated my Dad's 50th birthday

Nash's favorite part was the balloon and the string attached to the balloon
This little guy is obsessed with strings

Then it ended with a great visit from the Schroeders!
I hope our kids grow up to enjoy each others company as much as the adults do!
Next time there is a plan to have a Settlers game night over at the Schroeders once the little ones are in bed!  Cannot wait!
This is Nash and Annika.
Annika is three months older than Nash and weighs almost 10 lbs lighter!!!!

Mini Photo Shoot at Noni and Gramps

While at my parents house, I decided to give Nash his 9 month mini photo shoot.
The color outside was amazing and he just looked so cute in this little outfit!
It was nice and cool in the upper 60s and Nash loves to be outside at their house.
Hope you enjoy!

Chris let Nash wear his hat....too cute:)

After Lunch we headed down to the overlook at the beach and took some family pictures.

Three States

That is how my little family is spending this week apart.  In three different states.  I am currently out in Chicago for training with work. Chris is back home in Phoenix painting Nash's room, finishing building out the mudroom and swimming in our magnificent pool that was just completed this weekend.  Where is Mr. Nasherson you ask?  He has the privilege of staying with my parents and sisters and being loved on in San Diego.  Yes, this is the first time I have spent the night away from him, but he seems to be ok and not missing Chris and I too much. Both Chris and I have been skyping him two or three times a day so that he does not forget our faces and it is so much fun to see him light up and laugh when he sees us on the computer.  I pray he does not start to crawl while we are gone.  That would be so sad for Chris and I!  Anyways, hope everyone has a great week and be back on here when I get a chance this weekend.

Pool Progression

Last week the pool people came by and inserted the re bar.
It is crazy how fast these things go up!

Then a couple of days ago, they put the tile in the pool and started the decking process!

The inspection is tomorrow and then the pebble tech goes in and the pool is filled!
