Christmas Day 2013

We stayed the night at our own house on Christmas Eve for the first time in our marriage.
It was such a unique feeling and we felt like grown ups:)

Santa Arrived at our house.
He brought Nash a new bike and Spencer the train and Sadie a baby doll.
He also brought both kids new chairs.

After Santa, we jumped in the car and headed to San Diego for Christmas

Nash was so excited when we got to Noni and Papa's house at the sight of all the gifts.

Some special gifts:
Minnie Mouse

Dusty Duplo

A Kachow Football

Dance Bag

Bows

Baby doll Stroller

Sadie enjoyed some Uncle Hunter time

After presents; there were some games to be played

food to be had

and bikes to be ridden.

After Dinner, we sang Happy Birthday to Jesus.
I honestly think this was Nash's favorite part of the day.

He sang very loud.

My family was very patient and let Nash sing and blow out the candle,
I am not kidding approxiamtely 12 twelve times.

The weather was so warm while we were in San Diego,
that we headed to the Beach the day after Christmas.

Micha went Surfing

Nash started out fully dressed

then ended up in his underwear.

It was a wonderful Christmas.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was at the Nana and Pappi's House

We began the morning with breakfast and hot chocolate bar
with all the grandkids in their matching pjs.

Breakfast was yummy.
Bagels, lox, Pull Apart and Egg Casserole
along with a hot chocolate bar.

After Breakfast, we headed to open gifts.
We open gifts one at a time so that each child is able to enjoy the gift
and it allows the other kids to get excited about the gifts their cousins are getting.
Sadie got a Little People Princess Castle, fisher price purse and little make up kit,
books and pjs.

Nash got trucks, cars, planes and a tractor.

We got the girls pom poms this year!
They were such cute cheerleaders

Once all the gifts have been opened, everyone heads home for naps and to get ready for church.
We head to church and then back over to Nana and Pappi's for Christmas Eve dinner.
Here is the dinner table with Nash and Leyton at one end wearing matching shirts

After dinner we headed home to start new Christmas Eve Traditions.

Disneyland Christmas

At the beginning of December,
all of the Denove's headed to Disneyland.
Right before thanksgiving, Disneyland gets a makeover for Christmas.
It is by far the prettiest the park looks all year.

I know, I know this post is late but let's be honest,
the next few posts are going to be from December.

When we first got to Disneyland, the kids were ready for some lunch.

After lunch we headed to the big boat.
Nash LOVED exploring the boat.

He found all the special little spots

He pointed out everything on Tom Sawyer's Island

I was his side kick for the ride
 The boys

If you were to ask Nash, what his favorite part of Disney is his immediate answer will be...
Cars Land
He is in his element.
His favorite spot at Cars Land is watching the racing ride
and watching the cars zoom by.

It is pretty spectacular how Cars Land looks exactly like the movie

Telling Daddy all about the cars

Next, the group met back up at the Disney Banjo to meet some Characters
Nash was excited to meet the characters

Jo Jo and Nash

All the cousins with Mickey

Nash was in love with Mickey

Sadie and Nash enjoyed the parade

We ended the night back at Cars Land

Nash thought it was awesome to eat at Sally's Cozy Cone Motel

It is always fun to be at Disneyland.
