Pumpkin Patches

As many of you know,
I love the seasons.
Especially Fall and Winter!
This fall we have ventured out to several pumpkin patches already
and hopefully get to see some more.
Here are a few snapshots from our adventures.

1st Pumpkin Patch
This was smaller patch that had several rides and lots of cute pumpkins.
Nash decided he was going to go on the big slide.
He climbed up all by himself and then went down.
I think it was a little higher than he thought and he freaked out in the middle of it.
Once he was down, he started crying and asking for me and said it was too scary.
So I sat with him for a little bit and then he was off again!
This time on a smaller slide (see below).
He loved it and went on this slide over and over again.

Our friends met up with us!
Shelby and Nash

Then Shelby and Nash wanted to go on the bucket swings.
It started out great!
 They had lots of fun!

and then it got a little too fast for Nash.
He started crying and saying "All Done"
Poor Guy! Shelby rocked the ride though

Sadie was there too.
She was enjoying the scenery
and the hay.
I was busy keeping the hay out of her mouth

After all the fun, I wanted pictures of the kiddos.
I think they turned out cute?
Too bad Sadie was not as enthusiastic as Mr. Nash.

Then we attempted for a group shot.
4 kids looking in a picture...that is a dream right?

2nd Pumpkin Patch
Our 2nd Pumpkin Patch was a disaster
We went to a huge pumpkin Farm on Sunday after Church.
That was our first mistake.
We were joined by a couple of thousand of our close friends who had the same idea.

It was antique tractor day at the farm,
which made this tractor loving boy very happy

Nash loved every part of this day.

There was this chicken show and all the seats were taken,
that did not bother Nash.
He just went to the front and stood and watched.
The highlight was that the firetruck had to come because someone got hurt
and Nash just stood and watched the truck back in.
He was in awe.
We did get to go on a tractor ride too:)
and he was excited about that also.
Nash loved exploring the pumpkin field.

He tried to find the perfect pumpkin
These pumpkin pictures were not as much of a success

Looking at her Daddy, ready to head home
The trip ended with our stroller having all three wheels popped.
We must have driven through a pricker bush and had at least 75 thorns in our tires.
It was not fun.
But I love watching my kids love the seasons as much as I do.

Moorpark Country Fair

Our little town had a Country Fair down on our historic street.
We walked down the giant hill to the fair with our Neighbors.
It was very interesting and Nash's favorite things were the old cars and the police cars.

The kids getting ready for our hike

Nash admiring the old cars

Oh my Nash

Loving his Daddy

Daddy, Nash, Shelby, and Tom
(Nash calls Shelby My Shelby...how cute is that)

Looking at the Motorcycles

Saying Hi to the sheriffs

I would say it was a success.

Big Milestones for Nash

Nash had two big milestones over the past month or so.

The first one is potty training.
We started on Saturday, Sept. 7th
We went to the store and let Nash pick out his under wear.

He picked lots of pairs
 Thomas the Train
Cars
and
Jake and the Neverland pirates
Here he is looking at all his underwear and modeling them for us
Nash did amazing at potty training.
The first week was rough with at least one accident a day.
But by the fourth day we were getting the hang of it.
And by the second week we were accident free.
We only had one poo accident total.
This is the present he got for the first accident free day - Luke the train
Once in a while we will have an accident but it is usually on the way to the potty.

The second big milestone:
Big Boy Bed
Nash did not care much to say good - bye to his crib
He was so excited about his tractor sheets that we did not have a problem
The second night he did fall out but it is only a foot and a half off the floor so he is ok
He stays in his bed until we get him out.
He has made the transition amazing.
