Mr. Nash turns 1

Our little guy turned 1 this past week.
Can you believe it? ONE
We were so blessed to be able to celebrate his birthday with many loved ones.

Nash's Birthday was on Thursday. So his Daddy and I gave him three presents.
The first was a big bouncy ball in the morning.

Later in the day Nash received a big balloon
(he is in love with balloons)

Then that night we gave him his first taste of cake!
At first he was not sure....
...but then he tasted it.

And it was the end of the cupcake from there.

Then his third present was his slide!

Friday is when all the company started to arrive.
Chris's parents and his siblings drove in on Friday.
Then my parents arrived Saturday around 12.
Followed by all the Aunts and Uncles from the Denove side.

Nash's party started around 11 on Sunday morning.
The decorations turned out perfectly.
Minimal but sweet.

Cupcakes were decorated by the nieces and nephews

Banner that Mom and I made

Table with most of the food

The amazing cake pops made by our neighbor Kayla

Delicious Cookies made by my friend Erin

Nash got a new jump jump from his Nana and Pappi.
He has become pro at it and catching some air.
Our old jump jump went to storage:(

Nash's smash cake

Kayla made Nash a birthday wreath also.
I think this wreath may come out for every birthday!
Just change out the 1.

Nash also received a toy truck like his Daddy's!
Cousin Michael loved driving him around in it

After present opening, the kids went upstairs to play with some of the toys

Halloween 2011

Nash was our little pumpkin for his first Halloween!

Then he decided he wanted to throw a little fit
he did not like the grass or the hat

So I took the hat away and moved to the shade to see if that would change his mind!

He stopped throwing his fit but he was not going to smile for me

For our Halloween celebration we went to the neighborhood Boo Bash
with our neighbors!

Nash 11 months                  Arlie 19 months

Inside the Boo Bash, Nash found his favorite toy
a Balloon

There was also a pumpkin patch and Nash picked out his own pumpkin

Sweet Kisses for Mama

Boo Bash was a hit
When we got home, we were going to go trick or treating and then run over to some friends houses, however Nash ate a tag or something and started choking.  If you know me, choking is my biggest fear.
He could not breath and I had to stick my finger down his throat and he finally threw up. It was one of the scariest moments so far as a Mom with Nash.  Needless to say, we were both traumatized from the event and Halloween ended early for us!

Hope everyone had a great Halloween!!
