1. Build a house
2. Give to my church and friends who are doing God's work

Stomach Bug

I would call it more of a monster than a bug.....and yes I have been eaten by the monster. Technically, I am the fourth person to catch this extremely contagious flu. It all started from this sweet little boy. Then it hit his mother and then his father and finally me. I hope that it ends with me. So far....Chris is not feeling anything yet.

The father's advice to my husband......."Do not come home and just go live at the clubhouse".

The only good thing about this flu; it only lasts 24 hours. I am half way there.

BBQ

After an oh so very short off season......we are back to baseball. But baseball is not always that bad. I think one of the best parts are the people that you meet.

Saturday we had a few of our baseball friends over. The Heisey's and the Wood's, the Lutz's were supposed to come over but they had the stomach bug. We cooked a lot of yummy food, watched the boys invent different obstacles out on the putting green and talked out by the fire pit. Unfortunately, it rained a little bit but that did not stop the boys from playing outside. Right before the sunset, we were graced with God's promise. A beautiful rainbow.

The Beginning of Spring Training

People are starting to roll into Goodyear......everyday Chris comes home from the field with the news of new people arriving.

This is more interesting to me than what he does while he is at the field. With it being the first year here in Goodyear, everything seems exciting. The facility and fields are amazing and the Big League locker room is gorgeous. Chris was able to move into the locker room a couple of days ago and just got all of his gear yesterday.

Pitchers and Catchers report Feb 18th, so we have little less than a week before the season truly begins.

I will keep everyone updated!!!!

Like Father,Like Son

When Chris's Dad is home and wants to relax he goes outside and waters all the plants and sprays down the patios. Well.......it looks like my husband is taking after his Dad. This is the first time that we have had a backyard to take care of and Chris is loving it. Just see below

Trust

Chris and I are in a season that we have no idea what the next step is. God is being quiet as we shout out to him for guidance. The only good thing I know right now is, that I have a husband that will stand, sit, lay next to me and pray. We are coming before God together and asking him to put is hand on us and guide us in our next decision.

I have been finding myself singing the song that I learned as a little girl that goes with the verse "Trust in the Lord always, and lean not on your own understanding, acknowledge him in all your ways and he shall direct your path" Proverbs 3:5-6

Please keep Chris and I in your prayers as we have some big decisions to make in the near future.

Heather
