Disneyland Playdate

At the beginning of June, I was able to take Nash to Disneyland for a playdate.
My Mom met us outside Disney and picked Sadie up and took her back to her house.
This allowed for Nash and I have to have a Mommy/Son date.

We also met, Heather, Shelby and Cameron there too.

We watched some shows...and I got many kisses

Ate some snacks

It was super busy this day and we had to wait in several lines but the kids did amazing

Nash's favorite ride right now is Buzz Light Year

The kids wanted to ride the Monorail

 Another line

The planes loved the monorail

and the line for cars

He loved driving the cars

Then all the kids passed out

Once the older kids woke up, Shelby and Heather went off to ride a roller coaster
and Nash played with his planes while Cameron slept

then the parade came by.
Nash loves parades.
He told us that "He wants to by a parade guy at Disneyland when he grows up"

The last thing we did was watch the race cars at Carsland.
The boys favorite part I think

It was so much fun to go just Nash and I
and also to meet friends there.

Our passes do not work in the summer, so I think we will have one more trip before they stop working.

2014 Summer Swim Lessons

Summer 2014 is the summer of many firsts
One of the firsts was swim lessons
After discussing with many moms and trying to find the best solution for Nash
we decided to with Daland swim school
He gets 20 minutes with a swim instructor

His instructor's name is Miss Mimi and she is wonderful for Nash
When we started Nash could swim everywhere with his swim vest but he had not taken it off
now we cannot get him back in it.

He now can swim to the bottom of the shallow end and touch the fish
He can float on his back
Jump off the side and paddle to the edge
Climb out of the pool

and his biggest accomplishment of this month so far is being able to
hold his breath for 10 seconds while on his tummy, legs like a shark tail and arms out to the side
because of this he got a really cool ribbon

What does sister do while Nash is at swim lessons?
Slide

and just explore.

Yeah for pool safety.

Logan's Graduation and Celebrations

My cousin Logan Graduated from high school
and when he was almost 4 he came out to my high school graduation.
So it is odd that I have a 3.5 year old and attending his graduation.

The graduation was outside at his high school
which was beautiful.
This gave the kids an opportunity to run around and explore the grounds.

There were several cannons at Logan's school
which just fascinate Nash.

Travis and Papa showed Nash this real cannon
that they set off after the kids walked.

Then there was a cannon by the flag pole.
and Nash has quite the imagination.
He pretended to shoot it off and then ran to the other side and acted like it got him.
Enjoy this little series.

The graduation was nice.
I loved seeing my family

The family was asked to stand when their student walked across the stage.

After graduation night, we headed to church on Sunday Morning.
I was so excited to take Chris to this church
as they go to a church very similar to one I went to growing up.
It is always fun to share things from your past with the one you love.

My Dad could not resist jumping in.

Chris, Me, Gran and Grandpa

We left Monday morning, but were able to go to breakfast with my grandparents.

I loved seeing my grandparents and the rest of the family.
It was some wonderful memories that I will treasure for a long time.
Love you Texas and Oklahoma family.

Trip to Texas

About a month ago, our little family headed out to Texas for my cousins high school graduation.

This was the first flying trip our family of four has taken together.
It was a lot of fun and the kids were great travelers.

Nash is in love with planes and he was just super excited to see them out on the runway.
And he got to where his Dusty Crop Hopper PJs

During our lay over stop we were able to relax and spread out a little

Once we arrived at the airport, we met up with Papa and the kids were really excited to see him.

(A little Blurry)

We drove down to Tyler, Texas to my Uncle's house.
They have 4 boys
It was heaven for Nash
He especially became close to Caden.

They spent most of their time on the trampoline

Then on the golf cart

or playing trains

watching shows

Or playing baseball

don't think Sadie was left out
She had her own agenda

She was in love with their dog shadow

Loved exploring their yard

having Papa chase her and help her on the swing set

Hanging with Ethan

Her favorite toy was the ball thrower for Shadow

Picking Flowers

hanging with Logan and the remote

I have so many more great memories and photos to share!
To be continued
