Miss Sadie is 3 Months Old

Sadie Girl
Our little cupcake you have blossomed this month.
How it is possible that you are 3 months?
You are a highlight in our lives

You did not go to the doctors this month so I am not sure how big you are!

Diapers: You are still in size 1 however they are getting a little snug so we will
finish off the ones we have and venture into size 2 in no time!

Clothes: Dresses and pants are 3 months
All other clothes are 3-6 months
PJs are 6 months
 Development this month:
You have found your hands.
It is so cute for you to all of the sudden notice that they are there.
You will put them together or just look at them when they are in the air

You follow objects as small as toys.
You recognize all of our voices

 The Bumbo:  You love it!
Nash was not a fan of the bumbo, but girlfriend you love it.
You will sit in it for 20 minutes and look around

You will sit in it on the counter while I cook

You love to talk to me while I cook and watch what I am doing
You sit in it while I am doing dishes...you love it!
You are one happy baby! You smile and coo all day long.
If we talk to you, you will talk back to us.
It is so much fun and brings a smile to all of our faces.

 You have started to giggle.
It is the cutest little laugh. It is very short and you laugh a lot in your sleep
Fingers: You have worked really hard to suck on your fingers.
Right now you suck on the top of your fingers when it is in a fist
Sometimes you get your fingers and then gag yourself.
I know you will be a finger suckers once you get them.

Eating: You are still an amazing eating.
I have not put you on a schedule so it is hard to say, but I think you eat every 4 hours except at night.
This month I am going to work on getting you on a schedule.
We are still breastfeeding and it seems to be working for us.
You will take a bottle but it is a lot of work.

This is our set up in the afternoon while I finish up work.  I will sit in your chair in your room and work and you will sit and play with the toys I have hooked to your crib.
Or lay on your tummy on your soft lamb blanket.
You are such a good player.
Sleep: Oh my cupcake...you take after your daddy in the sleep department
To put you down we have our routine: Change your diaper, swaddle you (only the bottom half as you like your arms free, feed you, put you down.
At nap you sleep in your crib.  I think you take three naps a day.
10am, 2pm, and 5pm
They are all about 1 hour maybe 2 hours if I am lucky.
At night, you go to bed around 8:45/9 and wake up between 4:30-5 to eat
then go right back to sleep and sleep tip 8:30.
Nighttime you are still in our room, in the co-sleeper.
I bet you would do great in your bed too but this mama is just not ready yet.
Also, you sleep with a white noise app on our phones or the iPad.
Paci's: We switched to the nook paci and you seem to really enjoy it.
It does not gag you as much and it is easier for you to keep in your mouth

Personality: You do not lack personality
You let us know when you are not happy, which is rare.
You love to be snuggled and held.
Love your carseat.
Love to talk with us.
Love to be on walks.
Do not like the wind or your diaper to be dirty.

All things girly: Having a girl is so much fun.
I think Chris would say our bank account would differ with that opinion.
Yes I am in love with buying you pretty things and southern things.
You will be donned in monogrammed outfits as much as I can.
You will have a bow in your hair as much as you will let me.
I tell your dad that you will only be little once.
I have to enjoy it now.
So if the clothes have an open back, a bow, ruffles, or is monogrammed I will buy it!

Tummy Time: It is hit or miss with you.
Sometimes you really like it and other times you want nothing to do with it.

So cute...I just want to snuggle you.
Toys: This month you started to grab toys.
You love your playmat. You laugh at the sun that lights up.
You grab all the toys and try to pull them down.
 Fun Facts:
You rub your eyes when you are really tired or waking up
You are a very noisy eater
You are in love with Nash
You are eczema:( We had to get a prescription for it
You are a strong baby, hold your head up for long periods of time your grip is very strong.
When you wake up, you have a huge smile on your face.
Your toots smell worse than your Daddy's

Sadie we are so glad God blessed us with you.
We are in love with you!
Love you baby girl.
