Mammoth

Do you want to know the most coolest awesomest place is?
Mammoth
(According to Nash)

We went up to Mammoth for a weekend with Chris's family.
Nash was very excited to go to the snow.

It was so much fun to experience the snow with my kids.
We went the year before, however it seemed like it was an all new experience.

The Kids loved the Gondola

Nash went to ski school for two days
The first day was iffy but the second day was amazing

While Nash was at Ski School Sadie and the girls went to the Village

But the kids favorite part was sledding

The Kids Loved the Trip and ask when we are going back every week.

Nutcracker

The Family and I headed down to San Diego on Sunday the 21st.
My little Sister Micah was in her Ballet's Nutcracker.
It was so fun to get dressed up and go out on a date
with my husband and parents.
To top it off we got to watch Micah perform.

She was wonderful and it was inspiring to watch her.

She is the one in the middle wearing purple

She had several friends come and watch her

After the performance, we all went out to dinner to a really neat place.
It was great to be able to have an adult conversations without having to entertain the kids.

Thank you to Maddie who babysat for us while we went out.

Denove Christmas 2014

This year Chris and I decided we are going to start doing every other Christmas
with each side of the Family.

We had the Denove Christmas on the 21st this year before Chris and I
and the family headed down to San Diego for Christmas.

The kids excited and waiting for their cousins

The tables

Nana and Pappi have arrived

and so has the presents.
Nash reading the names on the presents to find his

the cousins have arrived

and now they are all trying to find their presents.

The cousins sitting and eating

Sadie loved being part of the big kids table

The girls

The boys

All six cousins

Nash fell in love with two presents this year from the Denove side
The Octopod from the Disney Show Octonauts
and the Polar Express Train

Sadie got a lot of little girl stuff.
Her favorite was this purse full of hair things
(blow dryer, straightener, brush and etc)
She decided to put it all on at once and parade around the house until nap time

Sitting on her Throne
(or new Chair)

At the end of the night, I caught Nash playing with his new Polar Express Train

Overall it was a great Denove Christmas

Thanksgiving 2014

Thanksgiving Tradition begins with the
Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade
in this house.
I did not realize how much the kids would like it this year,
but they were very into it.
They loved pointing out all the different balloons and
watching the performances.
Nash also discovered his love for pull apart.

I was able to host Thanksgiving this.
It was the Denove side year for us.
And this year was a very small crowd;
just Chris's parents and his sister's family.

I have learned that I love to host.
I love the details and cooking and the hustle and bustle.
The ideas for table settings are fun.

And before people arrived, I tried to get a family picture.

Once the picture was done then he gives a great smile

Chris fried the turkey along with anything else we could find in the fridge:
pickles, jalapeƱos, cheese and potatoes.

The girls did arts and crafts

 The boys played Go Fish

Then they all ended up in the fort to play planes

Then it was turkey time.

It was a nice relaxing Thanksgiving.
Great way to start the Holiday season.
