An evening at the park

We have little park right next to our house,
that the kids call the firetruck park.
We take our sand toys to the park
and usually play until the sun goes down.

The kids love to take two shovels and walk with them.
It is one of their favorite things to do.

They love to race cars together

Sadie loves to play with the toys in the sand

Nash loves to make silly faces at me

 She is my climber

This is Sadie's mode of transportation recently

Then Nash decides that the slide needs sand

The park is a great way to burn our energy late in the day.
Along, with riding scooters and playing with our neighbors in the circle.

Agoura High School's 50th Reunion

Chris's High School Celebrated 50 years this year.
They had a banquet for all alumni athletes at the school.
So Chris and I decided to attend.
It was really a neat experience.

They had the auditorium all decorated with different elements from the sports over the 50 years.

After the Banquet, we hung out at the game.

Chris loves watching his high school football team.
Brings back some of those quarterback memories.

Halloween 2014

Halloween was a lot of fun!

It started off with the Parade at Chris's office.
They take all the kids that go to the daycare there and let them march in a parade up the road.
Many of the employees come out to watch.
Nash was able to do it last year and this was Sadie's turn.

Spider - Man in the parking lot

Waiting for the parade

He was just so cute not take another picture.

Nash saw his teacher from this past year and was really excited to see her and his class.
He misses his old class and teachers

All the people waiting for the kids

Here comes Sadie.
She was all about it and thought all the people were there to see her.
She was waving and smiling at everyone.

Daddy went to meet her

and take her out to walk the rest of the parade

After the parade, we headed out to Breakfast!
Nash loves breakfast

Now time to get ready for Halloween
Putting the candy in the bowl

Baking Cookies

Playing Go Fish

Playing with the balloons

Ready for Halloween

Setting up for our second annual Halloween Block Party

Nana and Pappi stopped by to say hi

All the kids ready to go off

The first time Nash went to a house,
the person was holding three pieces of Candy and Nash says
"I will take all three"
after that I explained how we say trick or treat and they will put the treat in his bag.
We were off again to the next house
Next house he said "Trick or Treat, I only need one treat"
Eventually he grasped the concept.
Sadie was very selective to which houses she would walk up to.

The night ended with watching a movie outside on the driveway.
Super Fun!

Pumpkin Carving

At Nash's field trip the farmers explained what was in a pumpkin
and how once you carve a pumpkin it becomes a Jack-o-Lantern.

Nash was very intrigued by this and wanted to carve a pumpkin when we got home.
So we waited for Daddy to come home.

Let the carving begin.

So excited to carve it.

Sadie's turn

What is in there?

There are seeds in there...

see.

Sadie's turn

not a fan of the insides.

yuck!

Kids were not a fan of the insides so found other ways to entertain themselves

Nash and Sadie picked out the Jack-O-Lantern face
from one of their favorite books;
Its Pumpkin Day Mouse!

This is the Boo Pumpkin.
Then it was time to get a picture of them with the pumpkin.
Can never get one with both of them looking or smiling!
