After Christmas, we headed up to Tahoe to Chris's Aunt's Condo.
The Denove side go up every year for News Years
and we have not been since I was pregnant for Nash!
It is an eight hour drive and I was so nervous about the drive.
However, the kids were amazing.
The van was a nice bonus to traveling.
Sadie and Mama at a rest stop.
The first day we were there, all the kids took ski lessons.
This was Nash's first time to see snow and to even see the slopes.
He was not thrilled about all the clothes he had to wear or the ski boots.
Luckily it was not too cold out this year, so he was not freezing.
On our way to ski school
Nash was in the youngest group.
Actually, he was the youngest in the school.
You have to be 3 to take lessons.
Sadie loved the cold.
She was our snow bear.
Nash loved the magic carpet.

The ski lesson was half day and Nash only lasted for almost 2 hours.
He wanted to come home after the 2 hours.
He did not even want to stay inside.
So we headed back to the condo.
I let him do what he enjoys best.
Ride is bike.
Which he liked to take to the top of the hills and ride down
The next day, we decided to skip the ski lesson and have Daddy help Nash
He wanted to bring his planes with him skiing
so we let him.

Heading down the mountain
After the third time down the mountain, Nash was done.
As we waited for Daddy to pick us up with the car, we watched the other skiers down the mountain.
and played with some planes
The next few days, we just hung out at the condo.
The condo sits on the Truckee River
and Chris and Nash went down to throw rocks into the river.
Nash was in heaven.
Sadie liked playing with all her cousins little ponys and dolls.
We had gotten a Nanny for the evenings while we were there.
This allowed us to have some evenings out.
One night we headed over to Squaw and ate dinner at the resort.
It was an amazing night.
Another day, we headed over to NorthStar and enjoyed their village.
The older kids went ice skating and Nash and Miss Sadie walked around the village
The coolest part of NorthStar for our littles was the Gondola Rides.
Nash loved them
He was in awe of how we were above the skiers and flying in the ski.
The last day we were there, the girls had a spa day at the Ritz.
It was a much needed break and amazing.
After the spa, we headed over to the outdoor fireplaces for some drinks.
You know me, I am not a big drinker, so I ordered a hot chocolate.
One of the best I have ever had.
Overall, Tahoe was a great trip and the kids loved the snow.
We look forward to going back next year.
