Father's Day Weekend

We had an amazing Father's Day Weekend!
It is hot here...when I say hot I mean in the 100's.

So most of our time is spent indoors until the sun is just about to hug the mountain tops.
However, we got a lot of Daddy time this weekend.
Friday night Nash and Chris played on the floor and then watched Nash's favorite movie
"The princess and the Frog"
Nash just finds the frogs so funny.

Saturday evening we took a walk into our village to get some items from the market for dinner.

Nash's new thing is to cross his feet when he is comfortable.
So cute and I LOVE all the new little things that he is doing.

Our village is preparing for the 4th of July and all of the festivities.
This will be our first and I am so excited to see what they have going on.

While Daddy paid for our items, Nash and I ventured outside and I set Nash on the grass.
First time to feel grass and first time to sit by himself on the grass.
The grass did not seem to phase him.

Father's Day Sunday morning....Daddy made waffles.
It would have been pancakes but our griddle broke in this last move.
So waffles it was!

After waffles....Golf was turned on and Nash and Daddy took a little snoozer while watching Golf
while Mommy got ready for Church!

The day ended with a trip to Home Depot.
Chris received his first "Real" Dad gift....
a nail gun and compressor.

Hopefully this Momma will benefit from this gift!!!!!!

Granite and Sinks

Our little Family ventured out to the house yesterday.
I am so sad that this picture is blurry because it is so cute!
They were so excited the granite was installed.

Nash loved the sink!

Butlers Pantry

Bathroom countertop

Guest Bathroom upstairs, which has two sinks because the builders messed up.
Their loss, our gain!

The Jack and Jill bathroom between the kids bedrooms

Nash

One night this week, Nash fell asleep eating.
We could not wake him up.
He was passed out.
I treasure this time because we never get to snuggle him.

When we were in Louisville last year, I bought this cute little outfit for Nash.
He fits in it and I cannot believe it.
At first he was not sure about this outfit.
"Really Mom?!?!?!?"

"Ok I look cute in it"

"Not sure Dad is going to like"

Chris has been trying to give Nash different food items to try.
This is a wheat thin and I explained that all he was getting was the salt.
But I guess he liked the salt.

Flooring and Pavers

The pavers have been placed.  We have them from the drive way up to the doorway.
They look amazing.

Our tile floors are in.
We decided to go with tile that looked like wood flooring and it has turned out wonderful.

Then in the bathroom we went with large tiles.

So excited for the house to be moving forward!  Cannot wait to see what they do next.

Weekend in Havasu

Chris was given a weekend off from rehabbing his arm and we took advantage of it!
So we headed off to Lake Havasu on Friday.

Saturday Morning we ate at one of the Family's favorite breakfast places
the Red Onion.  Sooooooo yummy.

Nash enjoyed all the attention he was getting from his Daddy and Auntie Goog.

Then we went off to the boat for a couple of hours.
As soon as the boat started going fast....the munchkin was passed out

Once he woke up, he drove the boat with Daddy

Then he played in the water with his feet a little bit.
The water was still a little cold for him to get in.

Then he fell asleep on the way home.

Sunday we ventured out on the boat again.
Nash was in love with the lake and the boat.

He loved the yellow ropes and wanted to help steer the boat with this Daddy

 or eat them.

Then we had to get the famous picture of
Nash driving the boat with his Auntie Goog.
All of the children in the family have this picture taken and then it is framed in the house!
