Havasu - Spring Break

 A few weeks back, the three of us headed to Havasu to meet up with Chris's parents and his sister's family.  This was the first time his sister's family had seen Nash since Christmas and at Christmas our little Nasherson was not walking. So Nash had really changed and it was so fun to see him interact.

One of his favorite things to do was wrestle with Tay Tay and Auntie Holly.

 He thought it was so funny when she would tip him upside down.

Nash being the littlest guy in the family, he gets to experience some older kids toys.

He was beyond thrilled to play with cousin Michael's new zip tornadoes.

Michael was so sweet and taught Nash all about the game

and let him play with them.

The big kids were always doing cool things and Nash

would try to keep up with him.

He loved hanging out with them so much.

The last day we were there it was nice enough to go out on the boat for a little bit. 

At the beginning, Nash was not too sure about the boat.

 

He did not want to sit or be in any one's lap.

He hated to go fast.

But eventually he warmed up

and started to really enjoy it.

 He loved looking at the ducks

and driving the boat.

All in all it was a great trip.

Easter Sunday 2012

Easter Sunday started off Early!

We went to Sunrise Service at the Beach.

I loved it.

We dressed warm

Maddie made the girls Hot Chocolate

Dad made the men Coffee

When we arrived there were almost 1500 people already there.

It was amazing.

By the time the service had started I would say there were over 2000 people.

This was definitely a do over

When we got home,

the Easter bunny had arrived.

Nash went down for a nap and everyone got ready for the day.

Once we had lunch

the Easter egg hunt began

I have to say

Nash was not that into the egg hunt. 

He would pick up two or three and then run over to the trampoline and try to get up

But I bet next year will be a different story.

Wild Animal Park

For Easter we headed down to San Diego.  We got there around Dinner on Friday and left at Nap time on Monday.

On Saturday, the family decided to head to the Wild Animal Park. I thought Nash would love it but he was not as thrilled as I thought he would be.  The girls and I had fun, but I think one more year will be perfect for Nash.  Next time we will try the zoo maybe he will like the zoo better.  If you have not been, the wild animal park in San Diego is beautiful and worth going to, just not in the summer as it is inland and gets very hot.

Nana and Pappy

Nana and Pappy came to visit us for the week, a week ago.

It was a great visit and Nash was in love with his grandparents.

One of Pappy's favorite past times is to wash the patio.

So Nash decided to join in.
