Miss Sadie is 7 Months Old

7 Months!!

Your little personality has come out this month.

It has been a great month of growth and laughter.

Stats: We did not go to the doctor this month so no stats

 Clothes:

6-12 Months - Dresses and Shirts

6 Month Pants

9 or 12 Month PJs

(it is still one of my favorite things to do for you is shop and you like it too)

 Diapers: still in size 3

This month you have had some tummy issues

and extreme constipation where you cried anytime you had to poo.

It was so heartbreaking that this mama shed some tears during it.

However, we think we have figured it out for you.

 Milestones:

Pull yourself up to a stand on small objects

Eating Mum Mums

Say all done with the hand motions

Wave Hi and Bye along with saying the words

Suck out of a food pouch

Crawled two steps

Hold on tight when we hold you

Snuggle our necks when we pick you up

Went to the pumpkin patch for the first time

Choked for the first time

 Things you love:

You love to crawl to anywhere Nash is

Pick anything tiny up off the floor (I am only vacuuming all day long)

Paci - you will pick it up and put it in up side down and then turn it right side up

Love to be held

Love People

Love to wave and smile

Love toys - especially brother's toys

You love to go to Sunday School - you have a teacher named Miss Tari that you enjoy

Teeth:

Still no teeth

I keep thinking they are coming soon

 Sleep:

You still take two naps a day

8:30/9 - 10:30

1:30 - 3

We are still working on sleeping through the night - you wake up once a night

You throw out all your pacis in the middle of the night when  you are mad

 Activity:

You are still really active

You love to explore our house

You can army crawl to anywhere in the house and are very fast

You get into cabinets and items that are on the floor

Try to get anything Nash has including food

 Favorite Toys:

You love the teething tablet bottle. You love to shake it and chew on the top.

The nose squeezer - love to bang it on the ground and watch it bounce

A shaker that has balls on the ends

These princess little people...this is so cute

 One of your favorite things to do is dump over a tub or basket

and play with the toys

 You try to crawl in all the places you shouldn't.

Here you are crawling under your crib to get your paci that you threw out in the middle of the night

 Eating:

You still breastfeed 4 times a day

You eat three meals a day

however we had to take out bananas and rice cereal because your tummy did not like them

I have started to feed you out of the food pouches and you love it.

We are still in stage 1 foods but will move to stage 2 when these are done

 Personality:

Sadie you are a very happy baby

Love to smile and interact with people

You get over things fast (being in your car seat for too long)

Very determined baby - do not stop trying until you get what you were set out to do

Still very sensitive when you get hurt

 Brother/Sister Relationship:

You are in love with Nash

When he acts silly you just laugh and laugh at him

When Nash is on the ground you try to climb all over him - Nash has realized the couch is a Sadie free zone

You want to be in the same room as him

Want to play the same toys as him

When he is home you are a happy little girl

 Fall:

I am loving dressing you in fall sweaters and bows

We have a lot of milestones coming ahead and I am excited to experience them with you

Sadie you are such a joy in our life

We love to watch you and experience life through your eyes

A fun picture

I had to post these adorable pictures of Nash and Micah.  We celebrated Micah's Birthday two weeks ago and Nash was so excited about it. He wanted to pick out Micah's Birthday Cake and help her blow out the candles. Nash truly loves his Aunties.

Disneyland

 Our Denove Grandparents

took the entire Denove Family to Disneyland the first week of September.

We stayed at the Disneyland Hotel.

It was amazing.

They had a great pool with several slides that Nash loved going down.

As night was nearing the lights were lit up and Nash loved swimming over them.

We stayed well over his bedtime and he thought it was so neat to swim when the sun went night night.

The next morning we got ready to head into the park.

Our stroller was full.

It was the hottest day of the year so far,

so we had a cooler, lots of drinks, changes of clothes, fans, diaper bags and food.

While everyone rode Dumbo, Pappi stayed with Sadie and kept her company and out of the sun.

The one thing Nash really wanted to see was the Disney Junior show.

He had seen it on the Disney Channel was extremely excited to see it.

I got lots of videos, but when Sofia the first appeared he got very bashful.

Then really excited when Mickey made it snow!

 Nash's Favorite Character is Kachow!

However, he does not like to be up close and personal with him.

 However, Daddy did get him to smile

Mean while Sadie was just staying cool with her fan and toys in the stroller

 Nash and Daddy rode the tires

 Then at night they rode the tractors

I am so sad I did not get more pictures.

It was such a great time

I keep telling me to pull out the camera but when you are in it, it is so hard.

Miss Sadie is 6 Months Old

How can it be that you are 6 months old?

The time is going by way to fast.

You are such a joy and blessing in our lives.

 Stats:

Weight: 16lbs 7oz - 50%

Height: 25 1/4 in - 40%

 Clothes:

You are wearing 6-12 months.

These still are a little big on you!

PJs are 9 Months or 12 Months

 Diapers:

Size 3

Your blowouts have slowed down.

Now that you are eating solids it seems to be a lot less

 Milestones:

Army Crawl

Pick Anything up with your fingers

Eating Solid Foods 3 times a day

Slept through the night

Drinking from a sippy cup

Eating puffs

Looking out of your car seat at Nash as we drive

Interacting with Nash

Talking up a storm

Sitting in your high chair to eat/this includes at restaurants

Sit in the stroller without your carseat

Sitting in the shopping cart

 

 Things you Love:

Rattle with two soccer balls on the end (you hold onto it for dear life)

The shows Sofia the First and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse - when Nash watches them you start to laugh when the characters start to talk. You think they are talking to you

A little people Cinderella - You love to carry her around

You love to get any of Nash's cars or trains

Love to crawl to Nash when he is on the floor - if you start to touch him he is not too pleased

You still love to be held

 Love to ride in the shopping cart

 First time at Zuma Beach.

You loved to watch all the kids.

 Personality:

You are an extremely alert baby.

You will demand attention from people by staring at them and smiling.

You will respond to your name

When you do not like something you will let us know.

We may have a drama queen on our hands - you are very sensitive when you get bumped or hit yourself in the head - you scream at the top of your lungs

You are a very happy baby. Easy to please and very much a Mama's girl.

 Teething:

Still no teeth

I am constantly thinking you are teething but no teeth appear.

Big Highlight this Month was getting your ears pierced:

Daddy held you

 Not sure what she is going to do

 Very Upset after the first one was done.

It took a long time for you to calm down.

 But we did get the second side done and they are beautiful.

 Activity:

You are a physical little one!

You love to crawl across the floor

Pull up on chairs or people

Sitting alone and playing with toys

 Sleep:

My Sadie Mills you are still not sleeping through the night.

We have been doing the cry out method for the past week and you have been waking up once a night still. Cry for about 30-40 minutes and then go back to sleep. The time you wake up is not consistent.

But we are working on getting you to sleep.

You still take two naps a day.

8:30 - 10 in the morning

1 - 3 in the afternoon

 Army Crawl:

When you began to start crawling, you would put your head down and scoot with your toes.

Now you are full on army crawling.

You just pull yourself along with your arms and some with your legs.

You are getting up on all fours but have yet to move.

 Eating:

You are now eating solids three times a day:

Breakfast - Rice Cereal with fruit

Lunch - Orange Vegetable

Dinner - Green Vegetable

You are exact opposite of your brother - You love vegetables and hate fruit.

By far your favorites are Carrots and Green Beans

But you have also eaten: Bananas, apples, pears, squash, sweet potatoes and peas.

 Drinks:

You still breastfeed 4 times a day.

Wake Up, Morning Nap, Afternoon Nap, BedTime

We give you a sippy cup of water all day long

 Love to be outside!

Love to swing and Watch Nash play.

 You took your first bath in the big bath tub.

However, you still enjoy the little blue tub

 Brother wanted to join you in the bath tub

Sadie we love you so much and just have been in awe of you!

Do not grow up too fast little one

God has blessed us with you.
