Baby Nash is 7 Weeks Old

7 weeks
Can you please stay little? Please
You are gaining weight everyday, I actually think every feeding.
It is the most amazing thing being a Mommy and so excited to watch you grow.
Sleep: For you to go into a deep sleep you need to have a full tummy. This past week we had a couple of nights where I did produce enough milk and you did not have good night sleep. Right now you are waking up at 10:30pm, 3:00am and 7:15am. You have stopped grunting during your sleep but once you do start grunting you are on your way to waking up. I am letting you sleep on your tummy more and you are loving it. You slept in your port a crib for the first time this week.
Feed: You are officially eating at least 5 oz every feeding and we are still breast feeding. I am still not eating any diary and my diet is pretty bland, to save your tummy. You continue to take the gas and lactate drops, but hopefully you will be able to stop these next month. Spitting up continues every feeding. I am truly not enjoying this aspect and hoping it goes away soon. You still breast feed and bottle feed. This is a huge grace because your Dad gets to feed you and I am so thankful for that.
Weight:You have to be almost 10 lbs because you are so heavy to carry around. I have started using the Mobi this week and you seem to really like it.
Length: I think you have grown because we are starting to fit 3 M bottoms.
Milestone: You had many firsts this week.
  • You slept in your own bed this week. Of course it was only for naps
  • Slept on your tummy for naps
  • Focused on toys for a whole minute and even followed your hippo with your eyes

  • Funniest Moment this Week: All the accidents that have occurred. Refer to the previous post.
Your favorite toy: You love this snowman rattle and a hippo that goes on top of your car seat. You have started to notice yourself in your mirror on the activity mat. You just stare in the mirror. I love this.
Diapers: We have officially moved into size 1 diapers and you are wearing 0-3 month clothing.
Mommy Moments: I never knew how hard motherhood would be from the very beginning. I look at him and just cannot believe he is mine. To watch him grow and learn is the most amazing feeling. Never in a million years would I think I would not care about spit up on my clothes or not being able to take a shower every morning. The love that you have for your little one is outstanding and I just love the little guy so much.
