Christmas 2011

Christmas 2011 was a Christmas that will be remembered for the Christmas that the Stomach Flu hit us hard.

Our little family crammed into Chris's truck and headed West on Dec. 20th.
We arrived late that night at Chris' parents house. Early in the morning, we were awoken with a little munchkin throwing up.
Since Chris nor I have experienced a toddler with the stomach flu, we took Mr. Nash into the doctor.
Low and behold...the stomach flu.

Needless to say we spent the rest of the day running to the hardwood floor to have our poor Nasherson throw up on the floor.
Come Wednesday Nash was feeling better, however the ugly bug made it to me and then a couple of hours later it hit Chris.
Unfortunately, we were not the only victims of this flu. It hit Chris's parents and then my entire family except for my brother and then our niece and nephew.
This stomach bug was not nice and decided to be the gift that kept giving.

I did manage to only take a few pictures of Christmas Eve which was at the Denove's house.

Late Christmas Eve we drive down to San Diego to my parents house for Christmas Morning.
Santa was very kind to Nash.  He brought Nash his own little red sleigh in the form of a red wagon.
Nash was not too sure about it at first, but he eventually loved it.

Santa also brought my Dad some special ornaments.
Chris thought he was so clever by hanging some of the k cups we brought my Dad.

This was the first time my brother met Nash on Christmas Morning!
What a gift.

Everyone loved Nash's presents...maybe even more than Nash;)

Once presents were opened, we went outside to give some of Nash's new toys a try.
Chris's Parents gave Nash a bounce house for Christmas and my parents got him some balls to go with it.

My Gran, Nash's Great Gran had never been in a bounce house so she decided to get in with Nash.
No worries she did not jump around..she just enjoyed sitting in it.

After everyone got ready, we went on a walk and gave the old wagon a try.

Then it was dinner time.  I could not get the whole table:(

The day ended with a four generations picture!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. I know ours will be rememberable.
More on our trip to come!

Uncle Hunter

I promise to get a Christmas post up and an updated post about Nash. I have so much to catch up (thank you Danielle for reminding me;))

Anyways, my brother Hunter is in the Peace Corps. He is posted in Cameroon, Africa and left last September. If you do math, yes that means he has never met Mr. Nash.  So this Christmas was a special one.  Hunter was finally able to meet Nash. He even brought back a boubou for Nash. Below are some pictures of Hunter and Nash in their boubous.  Also, this is the first picture of our entire family together.

I promise a Christmas post to come!

Where have we been

I know it has been a long time...life in these parts have been crazy!

Last week, we traveled to CA to celebrate Chris's Aunt Kathy who passed away the first week of December.
It was nice to see everyone and spend time with relatives we had never met before.
I did manage to capture a few photos while being there.

We also celebrated my husbands 29th birthday while we were there.

On another note, we have had a busy little guy.  Just see below

Santa Claus 2011

Yesterday we ventured out to the outdoor mall in Scottsdale that we love.  We saw the Easter bunny there and then decided to take our chances with the Santa.  He was such a good Santa! In true Nash fashion, he did not react at all to the Santa.  Nash took one good look at Santa and then looked at Chris and I like we were crazy (however, we were the crazy parents dancing behind the camera to get a smile)! Well, we ended up with stroller face the whole time.  I will take it.  That is my very serious Nash.

By the way does anyone else think that the cost of the pictures with Santa is crazy!!!!

Winter Festival

Our Little Neighborhood is having a big weekend!
Tonight was the first night of it.
The Winter Festival

We headed down to the middle school for the festival

There were balloons, silent auction, craft show, kid choir and awkward middle schoolers.
Us Denoves met up with Kayla and Arlie
The biggest hit was no other than the balloon!

We had a great night and are looking forward to the Christmas Tree lighting and snow tomorrow night.

Family Fun

My Mom requested that I do a little family shoot of them and Nash and my Aunt and Uncle.
Below are the results from our shoot.
