Moving Day finally arrived - Day 1

The house is finally ours.
We signed our life away to gain a home.
Moving took part in two days.

Day One consisted of tons of installation, cleaning, unpacking the necessities (kitchen) and exploring.

Chris and Dad installed the garage door that Chris and his Dad built earlier in the week.

It was only 113 degrees outside while they were installing it.
Chris and Dad had fans going everywhere!

You know you have arrived to parenthood when....
you start stealing batteries out of your children's toys to.....

install grown up toys.

My sisters were a huge help watching Nash.
Maddie occupied him with any technology device she could find.

while Micah entertained him by singing and making funny faces.

Another item that was installed on the first day was Chris' new toy...

 a 60" LED Internet TV....oh brother
Micah and Nash seem to enjoy.

now all three of them are enjoying it.
Seriously I thought this TV was going to be too big but it fits the wall nicely and will look great with the built ins that will be going in later this year.

Why no pictures of me or my Mom.  We were a sweaty mess.
Mom was busy cleaning which is her speciality. Cleaning is one of my biggest pet peeves. I would rather spend my fun money on a cleaning person then have to do it myself.  Thank goodness for my Mom!!!
Me on the other hand was very busy putting away the kitchen.
If you have ever moved, you know the most important things to do when you move to a new place after cleaning of course:
- put toilet paper in the bathrooms
- unpack your kitchen

Once the kitchen is unpacked you can live in the house and work on the other rooms.
On to day two!
